WANTED: Patriotic themed garden

brainerd, MN(Zone 4a)

My DH joined the Army last year. While he was gone, I erected a flag in the front yard. I would like to put plants in this garden that have patriotic names. Not necessarily red, white & "blue" flowers, but plants with names like Clematis 'The President' (which I have this one).

I have lots of hosta though I don't know the names of them yet (landscaper coming out to help me ID them this spring) that I need to divide and would love to trade. Also please check my have's list for something you may want. Would also trade for postage/SASE.

I am in zone 4. Garden is about 5'x6' pie shape.

Thanks in advance :)

There are several hosta with a patriotic name: Independence, Patriot, Revolution, Minuteman. There is also a daylily named Revolution. If I think of more I'll let you know. I don't have the hosta, but I do have the daylily. Does that area get sun or shade?

Sun almost all day. The direction of the photo is north/north-east.
I would like to stay away from hosta as I have many already.

I'll keep my eyes out for other types of plants. There is also a canna lily with 'President' in the name. If you are interested in the daylily, I'll see how many fans it has. I just bought it last year so not sure how it did over the winter. It is still potted so it isn't as big as the ones in the ground right now.

I have Lilium 'Commander-in-Chief'. It's a solid red that blooms in the summer. About 24"-36" tall and relatively care-free.
