growing butterfy ginger question

I just received a Butterfly Ginger from a waterlily company.I had lotus growing in boggy water and put in with it.It is turning yellow.I have a plant light.My question is should I take it out and put in pot with dirt thanks for any help

I don't know of any ginger that grows in boggy conditions. At least none here in Florida.

Blue ginger blooms very nicely in the fall, but, it is not a true ginger.....

My butterfly gingers are not in boggy water. They like moist ground but not soggy I think.
