My parents are redoing one of their flower beds, and they have been looking for flame acanthus. However, all the places they have been so far don't carry it. I have told them they can propagate from the one plant they have, but I think they were hoping to put in something established. Any ideas where they can find it? They even asked at the Natural Gardener in Austin and was told they didn't carry it.

Did they try Barton Springs Nursery in Austin? They always seem to have some unusual plants.
I have 2 small plants and I can give as many cuttings as you want. LMK. CAm
Weston Gardens here in F. Worth has them most of the time. I have seen them at a few online nursery but for just a couple plants the shipping cost might not make it worth the money. I can look around and post the ones on here I have seen them.

Bustani plant farm has them. I have only ordered from them once but the experience was a good one.
I have two small plants rooted to trade and the cuttings would be from my large mother plant. Just to clarify.
Kim, will your parents be coming to the swap? If so one of us could find some for them.
I am pretty sure I saw them at Marshall Grain in Grapevine.
Frostweed, I told them they should come to the swap, but I think they are out of town that weekend camping. Thanks everyone for the tips, I will pass them along. I appreciate the cuttings offers, but since I am in Missouri now and mom isn't really up for swapping I think finding a nursery will work best for now.
I took Jasper on a hike through the woods today, just a snip of spring here up north.
Thanks! Kim
Rohde's Nursery in Garland has them.
