Such a pretty color. So glad they are doing well now. Are they bantams or standards?
Sure glad I bought five blue silkies, two of them just croaked. The other three seem to be doing fine. I have always thought it a bit odd when a couple just croak and some are doing great. It makes me shake my head sometimes...Hay

One is a bantam.. the silly hen must have snuck in there, cause I didn't think I set any when Biffy went broody. LOL
I have another hen on 12 eggs I think there are 12.. Oh well, you know my absent brain. LOL

Haystack, that guy was someone I met while I was on the road.. We (two trucks) stopped at this awesome biker bar/truck stop out in the middle of nowhere in Florida.. had the best meal ever.. didn't have to load for 2 days, so we were stuck there.. I got to talkin to that guy in the picture.. He had a local paving business and I used to drive transfer (paving) so we were chatting up a storm. I couldn't believe it was so cold in Florida, and he gave me that jacket!! He said to never get rid of it, cause there was a story behind it.. It was brand new and awesome! I had so much fun there.. everyone was sooo nice. That is where I tasted Curry Goat.
Okay back to poultry biz. LOL

Annie, when I first came to DG I was a brug addict bigtime. LOL I spent my first couple years on the brug forum.. I don't have anymore.. I left the last of them at the other house. My back can't handle lugging the pots anymore.. I am glad I have a lot of pictures though!
You would LOVE Modern Games! They are so interesting and so sweet.. they are a bit noisy, but so loveable and silly looking.. I miss them a lot. (all those pictures are old.)
Now I have a huge rush project to figure out where I'm gonna put the lavender hen that is on all those eggs! arrrgh.. I wish I could buy a brain somewhere that actually works right. Um.. like um, maby planning ahead? Nah, it's probably too expensive and with my luck it wouldn't work right. LMBO
ZZ's I gotta tell ya, we love ya just the way you are. Annie said it right, your beautiful but because I almost always agree with you, I didn't know if you could stand it (ie) me saying your B E A U T I F U L!!! There I got it out...P.S. I just sold my last three Moderns. I just can't have everything and they were always following me so close I always had to worry about stepping on them...Hay
