Hummingbirds on Longboat Key, FL

After thirty years here I finally saw one. (I left plenty of them back up North.)

Has anyone here or in Sarasota had any of them around?

I don't even know where to buy a hummer feeder in this area.

Any help?

Your local hardware store/ wal-mart will carry what you need to get going,typical nectar recipe 4 parts water to one part sugar, boil and let cool and you are ready. Red works best, and adding a piece of red ribbon or similar to dangle off your feeder will help bring them in! Good luck.

I will try. But I haven't seen any feeders locally. I will look more carefully.
