Hello All,
I've had a pic of a Warbler in my "unknown birds" folder since last fall and I'm still not positive about this bird. I'm thinking a Pine Warbler?
To help ID the bird, the pic was taken during the fall migration period on October 2nd, 2010. I took the pic while at Branched Oak Park just north and west of Lincoln, Nebraska. I'm also guessing it could be a male or female since it's probably wearing the duller winter plumage too at this time...
The chest area is lightly streaked...
I went through my Sibley Guide and would try and match up 2 white wing bars, with a streaked chest and the eye area. Somehow I'd be able to match 2 of the 3 to a Warbler, but not all 3...
This pic has the Warbler with a Chipping Sparrow...I think...LOL
All help is greatly appreciated :)
Susan
