A Japanese citrus called Yuzu, which is used like a lemon.

Jacksonville, FL

I have a citrus tree, Yuzu, and it is growing nicely in North Fla. But, after 10 years, the tree has not yet produced a single flower, hence no fruit. I would like to know if there is a way to encourage flowering. Any advice?

it looks to be pretty cold hardy but maybe the frosts are nipping the flower buds? maybe it needs feeding?

Lucky you......I hope lots of water and fertilizer gets it fruiting. Also weeding grass away from underneath the tree. I feel in love with the taste of Yuzu lemonades in Asia

you didn't say if the plant is in ground or potted, inside or out. these things all make a difference too.
