Alan,
You have another gorgeous bloom there. Are your plants outside yet? I hope you haven't had crazy weather and temperature fluctuations.

Thanks Veronica :-)
I am moving my plants in and out everyday.
Its not the cold (still not frost free yet though) its the wind.
We have had high winds for about 10 days, lots of plants with no leaves :-(

Wind!! I must have had a small tornado touch down in my front yard. A huge pine tree (?20 inch diam) was rippped out of the ground and twisted such that there is about a 15' split up the trunk.. I am very gratefull that it went the way of my 1 acr side yard. NOw I have a reason not to mow there.

Alan, We've had some nasty winds as well, but since I'm still leery of a late frost my Brugs are still in the greenhouse.

BirdieBlue,

It might have been a down draft. We have them every so often. A few years ago, the edge of one down draft hit a number of out trees and ripped off some branches, but as it progressed down the slope toward our neighbor's ranch, it tore up 100+ year old pecan trees. Wouldn't want to get caught in one.
