It got down to 33.6ºF out here in rural northern Fayette County. In April?
37° in deep east TX. It was predicted when it thunder in February. That is an old timers prediction... and it followed thru.
I've just been outside. My temp guage says 40 here in San Antonio at 7:30am. I suspect it was a couple degrees colder through the night. I think everything made it.

We had frost this morning. But my tomatoes were under cover of that plastic-with-holes stuff and came through fine! Haven't had time to get the peppers out and just starting the eggplants, so all is good!

Winds whipped my flowers for the last few days and further weakened my fence but nothing is beyond repair. My phlox pilosa is in full bloom and is laying oddly on the ground.

Picket fences were always good for helping diffuse winds, the plant SHOULD straighten itself up if it doesn't wilt, if it wilts, look for critters gnawing
It was 40º this morning here. A bit on the nippy side, but nothing damaged.
