My leopard plant is doing well this spring and I am wondering if I should divide the root ball to get more plants? I am afraid it will die or decline if I do though. Anyone have any suggestions?

I believe it is a Leopard plant, "Aureomaculata" I saw one a few years ago at the Dallas arboretum and had to have one. Finally found one a few years ago at Hope Gardens in Cut-in-Shoot. They have plant sales twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.
