CLOSED: Have for trade: Sum of Substance Hosta

Lamar, AR(Zone 7a)

I have recently divided my Sum of Substance - each division is about the size of three fingers. The plant I've dug up was sitting in a morning sun area, shade after noon. People have suggested that Sum of Substances is sun tolerant, but mine always gets crispy edges and unattractive by end of June. It's been growing in the same place for five years now. I was amazed at the root system. My mother got a start and I was able to share with a few friends and I still have enough for 4 trades!

I'm primarily looking for hosta or coral bell trades. Please check my trade list http://davesgarden.com/tools/tradelist/manage.php?list=want

You have d-mail =D

Hi, i have Kimodo dragon that is huge, i have to dig it up to move it.
Do you have any others that you can trade? I also have guacamole and another i think it's called Lakeshore master.

I have no idea of what you mean by "three" fingers. I'm looking for a decent sized plant, maybe we can do 2 of yours and I can send equal sizes?
tks.

Maureen, I do not have a Kimodo dragon. I looked up some pictures in plantfiles and I would love to trade with you. I will get some pictures of the roots I have available. I have two trades left. Unfortunately, I dont have any other hostas that need dividing this year. I would love to trade with you in upcoming years.

Here is a photo that illustrates the plant size. Fortunately, the roots were bigger than I expected (more like fist sized?) I've included the black pot to give an indication of scale. Let me know Maureen if this is acceptable size for you. Thanks for the interest.

HI, would love to trade. I'll dmail you later, i have to go cook dinner:-)
Your plants are quite large and healthy looking. I don't usually trade my hostas so i wasn't sure what 3 fingers size was.

tks.

I didn't know how to describe it....i doubt measuring hosta's by finger size is an appropriate method! ha

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Very nice divisions! Most people go by the number of eyes and maturity. If you have the name, it's easy enough to find out how big the Hosta is/will be. Obviously the eyes on a newer TC plant, for instance or a mini, aren't going to be very large. Yours look to be 2 eyed, mature divisions. :)

Please add me to your list of future trade considerations; thanks

Diana
