One of my beloved Siberian Huskies is lost/missing. DH said he dropped the leash and she wouldn't come when she was called. Despite months of prayer, physically looking, checking the various online animal rescue and lost animal sites, posting on the local website, and contacting the animal shelters, vets, law enforcement, the microchip people, etc., she is still lost/missing. She turns 14 this month and has been gone since last summer, so she could literally be anywhere, especially since she is very friendly and loves to "go for ride." She was lost in Missouri.
I hope she is alive and well, but understand that she could have run into a bear or mountain lion, or a farmer could have shot her if she was bothering cattle.
