I'm not sure about this hawk either. I would guess Red-shouldered, but it's a total guess.

Here's another pic. The sun was almost right above him, so hard to get anything but silhouette.

People have been reporting Broad-winged Hawks lately, so probably a good call. I've never seen one perched before.
