Does anyone know of something I can put in my old cement birdbaths to keep the algae down that won't harm the birds, squirrels, raccoons and other visitors?
Birdbaths
Other than store-bought, no. I've tried putting copper pennies-didn't work. Now I just clean mine every day and about once a week I put about 1/4 cup of bleach and fill it with water, then I cover it with a plastic bag overnight. In the morning, I spray it really good and fill with fresh water and it's clean.
