CLOSED: WANTED: Named Hardy Hibiscus and Ornamental Grasses

Northeast, AR(Zone 7a)

Hi all, I'm looking to add some hardy hibiscus and ornamental grasses to my gardens. I have named daylilies and a few perennials to trade. See my other posts on this forum.

I also have other non-plant items to trade and they're listed on the Swaps, Trades, and Giveaways forum.

If you're iterested in trading with me, let me know.

Hi NancyAnn -

How have you been? I have some fountain grass that my landscaping friend gave me last year. I don't know the name, but it grows about four to five feet tall and is just a medium green color. It is a nice specimen plant though. Please let me know. It is dormant right now, so I should be able to mail it out soon. We are expecting snow overnight, but it should clear out and the ground should be pliable by the weekend. Thanks.

Hi Sue, thanks for the offer, but I already have fountain grass.

You keep that snow over there, OK? I don't want any more of it. LOL

Yes, I would, Donna. I had some but it froze a few winters ago. Thank you! Have you figured out what you want from me?

Ok Nancy. This snow is getting old already. The plants are so confused.

Take care.

We had about 75 degrees early last week, and then sleet on Fri! I noticed today my banana plants are sprouting and it's so cold! Hope it warms up soon. I know spring comes a lot later for you. Poor you!

Thanks, cj. But I'm really looking for some of the newer, ornamental grasses like Hakone and carexes. I have several different tall orn grasses. I need some shorter for around my ponds and beds. I have maiden grasses, zebra grasses, and fountain grasses.

I may have some black moudry grass to add to my "have to trade" list. I'll have to check on that.
