Here we go again- we have wind warnings for gusts up to 60mph for the next day- I just went out and brought all my seedling flats inside just in case my 4x6' greenhouse gets damaged. I lost about 40 tomatoes 2 weeks ago when there was an unexpected overnight freeze. I can't lose any more! Hopefully my 12 milk jugs ws will be OK- Every year the weather gets more extreme- but that is happening globally, and compared to other parts of the country we have been fortunate.
This photo is of a new Community Garden that the city is building just up the road from my house- I am so excited- Since my garden is so small I signed up for a 5x10' bed- it is the 2nd one from the front. For some reason they built 2 of them extra deep (2 tiers of 2x12" boards) so I have 24" of wonderful soil ready to go. I plan to grow corn since I don't have space at home. They are putting faucets there, and it will be fenced in.
More crazy weather in the PNW
VERY cool! Nice raised beds! I'm doing a 3x8' bed this spring myself!
