A Place for Everything & Everything in its Place

Mission, TX

Today I found two very interesting websites and both are a Godsend to me. I am in desperate need to declutter and organize my home. I am the type that has to have everything "perfect" before I can say that I have finished what I set out to do. After reading some of the postings on this forum and reading the FlyLady website I am starting out doing tasks for just 15 minutes. I am actually beginning to think that I might be able to change the ways I do things. However, the hardest thing for me is to find places for the things that actually stay in my house. I read that we should have "a place for everything and everything in its place", but I really need tips on where all of you place your things. Some of the things I have problems with are: bandages, medications used only when grandkids come over or we go on vacation (like for bugbites, etc.), batteries, office supplies (ours are scattered because my husband wants them in the kitchen, I need them in the TV room & mother needs them in her room), so please tell me how you decided where you make a place for things. I would love to read about your kitchen/pantry organization, bathroom, etc.
