Today's stroll through the garden.
What happened to spring ??
Scilla drooping under a topcoating of snow.

Jeffersonia completely inundated

Narcissus Tete-a-Tete

Japanese apricot

Ponciris trifoliata Flying Dragon actually looks nice in the snow.

I tried covering some of my japanese maples which had already leafed out.
Unfortunately, not practical for the big guys.
We'll have to sweat out a few nights of subfreezing lows.
A little exasperating!

Here's the same maple a few hours later.
I covered about ten of them, so we'll see how it goes.

Glad you got it and we didn't!! Don't worry, nature will take care of things as usual.

It's hard to tell yet for sure, but I think we escaped major injury.
In fact, we had 5-6 inches of snow, but it melted remarkably yesterday.
Unfortunately, they're predicting another day of snow tomorrow.
Once it's past, I think we're good.
I'll keep everything covered for one more day.

I'm definitely ready for spring for real....

Was hard to comprehend that you got all of that snow. Usually us northerners are jealous of your weather. :) Hope everything survived.
