Japanese Chins Anyone have one?

My little poodle died last Oct and I've been thinking about getting another dog. There are a couple Japanese Chins being advertised in the newpaper. After reading about them, they sound like a good match for me. Does any one have one or know someone who does? I like the fact that they are small and cat like. I have 4 cats and need a dog that will enjoy playing with them. I like to take a dog for walks, but don't want one that needs a lot of exercise. We would most likely just walk around the park once a day. It sounds like they can be kitty box trained too which would be nice for when I'm at work. I also like the fact that they don't need to have haircuts.
