Brugmansia Pictures

FSH, TX

Where have all the pictures gone? I know I don't pay as much attention as I should, but Arelene had placed a few pictures of some Culebra starts and seedpods and I believe a few others were posted. Its my belief that besides flower, the seedpod is the next best way to identify other very near crosses as the seedpods often very much more so then the flower when the cross is a close one. Would love to see more pictures and just wish I had a descent camera and the natural ability to take pictures that some of you here have shown. Looking forward to more pictures here personally.

We're having to reload all the pictures on this forum. As soon as mine get a bit bigger, I'll be posting some of seed pods.

Tig,
Can't wait to see some of the old pictures back up and the new ones to come as well. Do the individuals have to repost or are they being posted by someone else?

I think we'll have to repost our own pics. I'm sure Arlene could repost those she has of yours. When are you going to send some of your flower pictures? You can't get off with 'I don't take good pictures' !!!!

I'll be reposting, will repost seed and culebra pics. brugman, wait til you see my culebra, it is beautiful! give me a day, i am in trouble at work, hopefully by tomorrow.
SEED POD QUESTION: I harvested a seed pod because the end seemed so soft, i thought it was going to rot. the seeds came out easily, seem to be of reasonable size. were beige/off white, now about 24 hurs later they are medium brown and turning crispy. not sure if they are ready, am going to plant and see. any guesses? (thanks brugman, yes they are off your white hybrid).

Arlene,
They sound ready to me....how about you Brugman?

Gloria, thanks for answering... i was really afraid it might start to rot, had to pick it. thanks for reposting pics too.

Arlene thanks so much for reposting. Seeds do tend to get a bit darker after they are exposed to air. For the most part, the darker they when they are picked fresh the better or more viable the seed is.
Tig, I just took several roles of film at night of my Brugmansia-if I sent them to you would be very disappointed as one can barely make out the color in some of them. Very disappointing.
Thanks for everyone posting the wonderful pictures in this forum.

Brugman,
I took some picture late this afternoon of some seed pods but the weather was ugly and the pictures just didn't come out right..will try again tomorrow.
