Tigger on the loose

For three years Tigger has been an inside cat, and even when we were home improving, he would look out the door, but never try to go outside. Today, when I opened the door, and talked with DW, Tigger jumped out, and put distance between us. I know its a beautiful day, but that was unexpected.

Open for advice on getting him back.So far, I know not where he is.He is certinally use to regular feedings, and his choice of sleeping arrangements. Hope it is not because we have Simon, although they get along fine. Broken Hearted Mike.
