Storms were rolling through the Midwest last night and this morning. It woke me up about eleven o'clock. I kept thinking of the car parked under a very dead tree in the yard. But tree was still standing this morning. When I went out to do chores this morning there was still a lightning display on the horizon.
My little bottle calf seems not so scared of me this morning. She actually sniffed me after she took her milk. Usually she gets away in warp speed.
It's hard for me to face the traffic this morning. The air is so fresh and clean after that rain.
