I am having the most awesome day.. Nothing can upset me today. I had a wonderful lunch with a dear friend and she treated me to some beautiful nearly hot pink Hyacinth that smell absolutely divine and some herbs I really wanted for my garden!
Then I got to spend some quality time with all my chickens and let them out to graze.
I really scored cause I was able to collect a bunch of Lavender Ameraucana eggs and put them under my best broody, Biffy.. (who could hatch a rock if I let her) So if those eggs are good.. we will have babiez for sure.. If anyone can do it, it's Biffy. I hope I hope they are good eggs.. they have been sitting in the coop for a while, so time will tell.
I really enjoyed this day.. I hope everyone is doing the same. Biffy is pictured below.. she is a fierce mom!
On top of the world today!
I certainly wouldn't bother Biffy's babies! Good luck on the hatch.
OMG Flashbacks of Phylllis Diller. Both to my best recollection are very intimidating...LOL...I'm so glad you had such a great day...Hay

Hope you have a great hatch
Sheesh, she's a Brood-Zilla too! Glad you had a wonderful day!
How many times has she been a mom?
I'm not even sure how many times Annie... I'm hoping I can tell from pictures.. Got sidetracked today..
she does give you a good stink eye doesn't she Annie
She would make a great Beware Of Chicken sign!
Those kinda days help us get through the stinky ones in between. God is good like that. Glad you had a great day.
I like her color, and the pattern of her feathers.
Just so I don't loose track... I gathered another batch of lavender eggs and put them under a first time broody...We will see... They were muddy eggs, I don't know.. but she is happy to be on real eggs I'm sure.. That big wood egg doesn't stay very warm. LOL
Good luck!! I love broodies...LOL
I just cannot get over that bantam lavender araucana of yours.
I read they are very nice calm birds too.
