Plant out my WS containers?

Conroe, TX(Zone 9a)

My WS'ing has been mildly successful as about half of what I planted is growing, a couple of them pretty well. My Lion's tails are getting pretty tall and I am wondering if it is too early to plant them out in the garden or should I wait awhile?
Any suggestions?

Nice job! I'd plant them into individual containers so if it freezes, you can haul them inside.

Great looking plants!!!

In your area, a freeze is pretty unlikely, so I'd put them in the ground. March 13 is the average in the DFW area for freezes.
Although we didn't get a hard freeze after mid March 2010, that surprise 8 inches of snow on the first day of spring did it's damage! Farmers Almanac predicts a moderate spring temps but drier that normal conditions, which is also concurrent with the La Nina conditions.

I was thinking I would put them out this weekend!
