Texas Flame Tulips and Wave Petunias

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Tulips in my front entry bed. I got all my bulbs from Eflowergarden this year and they've really done exceptionally well. I'll definitely buy from them again!

Edited to say:
WRONG TULIP NAME. Sorry, these are Parade Champ. The Texas Flames are in another bed and not in full bloom yet.

That is nice parade!! Are they supposed to bloom next year without being dug up?

Thanks. Here's a pic of one of the Texas Flame parrot tulips. I don't know if they'll come back next year or not. I'll let you know, but tulips are usually a one shot thing here in Houson. I'm hoping some of the daffs and narcissus come back. They're a little more reliable.

Your yard is beautiful....I too am jelous. After 2 weeks of beautiful spring like weather in the 60s and above, all is budded out.

Peach trees in bloom, daylily up, phlox up anout 6 in, roses all leafed out, daffs blooming everwhere, spirea about to bud.

I got a spring freeze this morning down to about 28, sets me back a spell and gets me whining. I haven't been out yet, just looking thru the windows. I am hoping the larkspur and the poppies that were up about 6 in will be ok. they were just thick and coming up in all the beds. I was so excited to see green again

I don't know how low it went here, but the water in the bird bath is frozen, looked at some of the plants and they seem o.k., I hope so.
