Both are gorgeous! I wonder if they are in California. I have not noticed either before.

They are both common landscaping plants in warm areas. They do like water, so wouldn't do too well in a desert garden.

HD sells a similar looking dracaena but I do not remember it being that stunning. I wonder now if they are the same as this one.. I need to look at them more closely next time I see them there. Yours is so highly variegated with white which I love, HD one it seems to me had more of a yellowish look.

Each species has a number of cultivars, with different variegated patterns and shades of white, yellow, and green.

'Song of India' & 'Song of Jamaica' (D. reflexa) and 'Golden Lucky Bamboo' (D. sanderiana) are some of the more striking varieties.
