CLOSED: Have Regal Perlagoniums

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

I have these two Regal Perlagoniums cuttings for trade.
I would like to have Campanulas, Penstemons, and Agastache. If you have something else, that will be okay too.

I love that one! Wish I could trade with you, but not having anything shipped into here for quite a while yet. Just too risky this time of year, lol!

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

I am not taking cuttings right now. I am going to within the next month. Maybe I didn't make that clear.

Birder, do you want the wild variety of the campanulas? They grow wild here everywhere in the spring, so wasn't sure if that's what you were wanting, or if there is another variety that you were referring to?

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

I don't know much about the "wild" kind. If you know something about them, please tell me.

I have seeds of campanula medium and penstemon Husker Red, no cuttings. Would you trade for Gypsy? I also have noid agastache (i may be able to ID when I get back to the house and look through my tags), gorgeous true blue flowers. I can send a division next month.

"Gorgeous blue flowers" sounds pretty. I researched Noid Agastache but could not find anything? Does "Noid" mean No ID? Is "Gypsy" a Penstemon? I am interested in your flowers. I just don't know what you have.
Please note: I would be interested in something else you might have that I don't already have. :) I guess I need to make a list of my seeds and plants-but man that sure takes a lot of time! I actually have a list, but it's not on this web site.
I would really like the Husker Red, but I have not had luck growing Penstemons from seed. If you have suggestions, please tell me.

Would you be interested in a ric rac rac cactus plant in tradeor purple leafed oxalis? Thanks, Lou

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

Hi Lou, yes, I would like to have some Purple Leafed Oxalis, I researched this plant and I "think" it's called Oxallis regnellii. I'm in zone 6a but I think it will make it next to my shady sidewalk. I have Iron Cross Oxallis there and it has been there for years, but I have to say it has not spread or grown very much. It's a fun little plant. If you have tips on growing this plant, please tell me.
D-mail me with your address and details.
For others, I have more than one cutting. My plants are pretty big.

Thanks, My address is:

Please send me your address and I will mail the oxalis as soon as we get a warm day. Lou

Sorry for the confusion. I'd like cuttings from your 'New Improved Gypsy." My no ID (you guessed right) agastache may be Blue Fountain, but I won't be able to look through my tags until early April. And the flowers are gorgeous and go on and on if I cut them back after the first bloom. I can send you a division of the plant in April, if you would like.

I bought the penstemon seeds this year. I've had them in a wet paper towel & baggie in the frig for 3 weeks, no sign of germination yet. I've been reading that after 40 days I should plant them and they will germinate. We'll see!

The campanula seeds are new, too, and I have more than enough to share if you're interested.

Thanks, Pam

Pam:
I would like to have the Blue Fountain Agastache--you have sold me! :) My two Pelargoniums aren't in bloom right now so I honestly don't know which is which. How about I send you a piece of each one, and you send me a start on the Agastache and a few Husker Red Penstemon seeds?
I have not cut these yet. It was gorgeous outside today and is suppose to rain the next two days. I transplanted some annual poppies, planted some pansies and sowed allysum outside. I also attended a local Garden Show. I am going to propagate tomorrow. If anyone has any neat secrets for propagation, let me know. Has anyone tried putting the cutting in a pot etc and in a baggie? I am just wondering abut that.
Edited: I forgot to put Pam's name on this message.

I'll send the seeds now, but I can't get to the agastache until April 2. I'll be happy to send it then. Or if you'd rather wait for everything at once, that's ok too. The house is very old, leaky insulation etc, so we close it for the winter. I'm gardening on a windowsill with lights for now, and running out of room. I have room for the cuttings though, LOL! I'd be delighted to get one of each!

I have heard about planting the cutting in a pot and sealing up the pot in a baggie. I have a Rosemary I'm doing it with now. Fingers crossed...

Thanks! Pam

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

Pam, I think let's wait with the seeds. I need to make sure I get some starts!
I'll keep you posted on the development of these cuttings.

Jackson, MO(Zone 6b)

Okay, guys. I am ready to send out some cuttings. They will not be rooted. I tried desperately to root these little guys, and they just didn't cooperate. I had them under lights and made vigil over them for many days. One by one, they kept dying off. I will be happy to send you some cuttings. Let me know who's still interested. It's time to be getting the cuttings mailed before it gets too hot.
