Saw yellow sulphurs this week and this one. He/she landed on the patio table right after I finished wiping it down. Ran inside to get camera. This was as close as I could get..didn't have tele. lens on. Question Mark,, or a Comma. It was 84 here today...Way too warm for February/

Whooohooo! Congrats! I'm not sure which. But it's a delight to see. We reached the record of 80 today and paid for it. The storm that came afterward was terrible, lots of trees down in the State and right onto Tenn. & to Ga. ...urgh!!!
I guess I'm not the only one hating the warm weather. It's way too hot !!! I am not looking forward to summer. On another note it's great to see butterflies up north already starting to make a come back. This past Sunday at the Botanical Gardens I spotted Zebra Heliconian, Julia Heliconian, Gulf Fritillaries, Cassius Blue, Polydamas Swallowtails, Monarchs, Giant Swallowtails, Queens, a couple of different Sulphurs (Still can't tell which one is which), Atala hairstreaks and one Red Admiral !!!! I was soo excited. This is the most variety that I had seen in months. Happy because the butterflies are back but not soo happy because of the heat so early on.
Well I wish it was warmer, but then the cold really hurts me.
I am totally delighted that you are already photographing this year's beauty flies!
Congrats, EFGeorgia! : - )
Daddy always said that sometimes the best photos were the unexpected photos. It's so true!
Glad you didn't break anything racing for the camera. : - )

Sorry you had bad weather in Alabama. Just nice rain here.
I am not complaining about warm weather... I hate the cold. ( I have that thin Florida blood)
Those unexpected photos are the best.
Hope to see more butterflies soon!!
You will, I'm planning on posting some more today. : - )
