Forgive me, but I've misplaced my bird book. Is this an American Pipit? Song sparrow? Somethin' else? There were 5 or 6 on the grassy path until I spooked them into the tree.

Savannah Sparrow - note the yellowish tinge on the front part of the eyebrow. Too thick a bill for a pipit.

I looked for yellowish tinge and didn't think I saw it. My eyesight is definitely failing! Thank you for your expertise and your vision!
