I've read somewhere ....

Bartlett, TN(Zone 7b)

that bluebirds don't eat seed, but I promise they do here. I see them almost daily on the sunflower hearts.

Very nice pic! Yes we've heard from some other members that say the same thing.

The Ozarks, MO(Zone 5b)

Nice pic! Our Blues only eat the sunflower hearts also...as well as worms of course. It took about 2 years though until they would eat the hearts. I have a feeder just like yours that they enjoy. I read that they aren't capable of breaking the shell on the whole sunflower.

Mandeville, LA(Zone 8b)

My Blues ate at the feeder, but I think they were eating the chopped raisins, maybe the peanuts.

Norman, OK

I've put SF hearts in the mealworm feeder for mine and they totally ignore them. Also tried raisins and they don't eat them either. Just fed Daddy his breakfast of mealworms. He is here waiting at 8:00 every morning. Pic of Daddy.
