Anyone use Adequan injectable for cat arthritis?

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Adequan is an injectable form of Glucosimine used for horses originally that has started to be used in dogs and cats. My HollyCat has terrible arthritis in all four legs. I've been giving her cosequin for months and it seems to help but she is having trouble jumping lately. We all know that cats don't do pain killers very well and as she is only 11 - that really isn't an option I want to take yet. I wondered if anyone is currently using the Adequan and the dosage and frequency and whether it is given IM or subQ.
