steam cleaner to sanitize shelves

I had broad mites on a couple of plants in my greenhouse. Unfortunately I thought the plants were getting too cold & moved them around. Now I've tossed the plants & wonder if I could stem clean around where they were.
Would this kill any mite & eggs?
