Thank you much!
Which brug is this?
Wingnut, nice to see you on the brugs site. i want a frost free zone so mine could get so big. hoping someone will be by with the answer for you, i want to know too.
Hey, Arlene! Yep, I have admired brugs from afar for a while now, but never really thought I could have any 'til now. The new greenhouse is almost done! The other one got obliterated in a nasty spring storm last year. :-( But this time I'll have nice things I didn't in the other one ~ like a home-made heating table for bottom heat. Can't wait 'til it's done so I can start some brugs of my very own! :-)!!!!!
Could this be a Cypress Gardens Brug?
I looked at a bunch of pictures on the 'net of Cypress Gardens and the color is right, but the blooms on the one at the link above seem thinner and (maybe) longer. Could it still be Cypress Gardens that's just started blooming? Do they have that many blooms at first that all open about the same time?
Or is it something else? I've GOT to find the name for this one so I can get it! It's just too gorgeous!
My guess, Cypress Gardens or Versicolor alba. I personally like Versicolor alba better if one is going for a white type with color that fades in and out depending on the season. Alba tend to put out more blooms as well, although Cypress Gardens is a very nice versicolor hybrid. Alba has lighter leaves in my oppinion. Sorry, I can't give you a positive id-but I do have both of those hybrids. Difference is most clearly noted when you grow them next to each other.
