Sweet Love

Once again Monika Gottschalk comes in with another doulble that likes the florida weather....
the cross is Bolero x Apricot Queen. The fragrance is somewhere in between that of a citrus scented brug and a baby powder fragrance....I love this one

Very nice Gary !

She is getting ready to have another bloom, only this time the bloom looks huge. The calyx is gigantic....i think the first bloom may have been deceiving because it was a small bud on the plant when i transported it. The new bud developed here once the plant had settled in. She is dropping the skirt now so it won't be long......

Beautiful bloom! Does the second skirt stay stuffed?

OMG it is white. *swoon* and lovely. Congrats. Whites are my favorites for some reason.

Veronica, This brug is new to me but from the pics i have seen she does both stuffed and dropped skirts. However when she does actually drop a skirt it seems to stay close to the upper skirt. I am also told that she throws 50/50 doubles and singles. So far i have only seen doubles. Monika suggested that since she does throw both singles and doubles it may be a suitable candidate for a NOL cross. However i am a ways away from any NOL blooms on my plant. I am putting out an SOS for NOL pollen. Of course it is too late for this bloom but I have many teeny weeny buds in the wings. I really want to try this cross in the future. If anyone has a bit of extra fresh NOL pollen...or any other genetically strong pollen, I am in desperate need. i got a late start this year and the only pollen i have is from Rosalie and that is what i have been hitting these new german doubles with...but i am running out quickly since i have had only one bloom on that one....any help would be appreciated with any pollen that can be spared...thanks everyone....Gary
