afternoon farmers! Well our nice weather is not lasting for too long. It is in the upper 80's today and humid! There is a hurricane that is hitting Belize and we are getting some of the wind from it. It is not bad, just really windy out, almost a 'hurricane looming over us' type of feeling in the air. I guess it is hard to explain, but there is a feeling you get here when storms are in the Gulf.
I am waiting for another call today to pick up more shrimp. My friends who trawl called me last night and had another good catch, so I am going to put up more for the freezer. Does anyone want to come help me??? LOL..lots of work dealing with an ice chest of shrimp. But so well worth it! She also is giving me some more crabs and fish too!! SO I will be very busy in a few hours! I am sure I will be up until midnight tonight...I only hope it is not too flooded where they live, the weather man is saying coastal flooding.
