Burpees sell a basil they call summerlong that I have to get every year. Because I've had issues with them and their other company, Cooks Garden, I'm looking for another scource. It is much bigger than a Globe type, the leaves are about thumbnail size, and it stays small and bolts very late. A great plant!

It looks like 'Summerlong', is available from Cooksgarden.com (http://www.cooksgarden.com/herbs/basil/basil-summerlong-prod000034.html?cid=PPC). However, if you look deeper, that company is owned by Burpee. It looks like that variety is exclusive to Burpee. You can get other small French Basils, one type is Basil 'Marseille' from Park Seeds. http://www.parkseed.com/gardening/PD/0266
