seeds revisited

Arlington, TX

Checked the pots today and see some germination at long last!
Most appear to be annuals.

cowpen daisy
drummond phlox
rudbeckia hirta
brazos penstemon
tahokia daisy
a few red dome blanket flower

A few random sprouts here and there, hoping this is a trend that will continue.

None of my flower seeds are poking through yet but my Choy Sum and Pak Choi and Tropical Radishes have already germinated and I just planted them in my cold frame Wednesday.

How does bok choy and pak choi handle high temps? I haven't tried them in TX.

According to what I have they are from Vietnam and do great in Hot and Humid conditions which may explain why they are sprouting. I have them in one of my raised beds with a custom top using 4 mil greenhouse film. The last few days it has been 90 inside it with about 80% humidity. I think I have a few seeds left if you want to try some?

Too early for me, I am still making beds and getting old ones ready. I do love bok choy though and if yours grows well I will certainly try some in the future.
