Achimenes problem

Bar Harbor, ME

I am relatively new to Achimenes culture and most of my questions have been solved through reading but I haven't found an answer to this one so I figured I'd ask the experts. Some of my leaves are growing with, what appears to be a light variegation at the tips of the leaves. It's actually sort of pretty but it isn't a variegated variety.

Any suggestions what it is and how to treat it?

Thanks,

Karl

Do you think the plant is trying to go dormant? Mine are all dormant right now...the ones I grow outside of course are all gone since late fall. A few I grow inside and some went dormant when the outdoor ones did and the three others have just gone dormant last month. I was told I should have started making them go dormant with the others. They were blooming and I didn't want to let them go yet, ha

lilypad - Thank you. The plants in question have just been taken out of dormancy so that wouldn't be the case. I don't blame you for keeping some of your Achimenes in bloom, though.

They're really quite nice and I'm only just beginning to get to know them. I'm suprised that they're not more common.
