I got rid of those two red hens that were so aggressive. It wasn't easy, but it is done. Didn't even have to meet the person, just said, they are on the porch, come and get them. :) Then I left to do errands. It was almost painless.
Got an email back from them saying how happy they are to have them, and they are just like the red hens they had before. Guess we are both happy.
Proud of me?
That's the way it should work out. Good for all concerned. Yes, I am proud of you!
Life is too short to put up with bad chickens.
wonderful you found a home.
Yes, but if I was really grown up I'd have cut their heads off and eaten them.
I feel good about my small accomplishment though.
Thanks all of you on DG, you have helped me so often, more than you probably realize.
Not hens! I don't think so.. geez, you should have seen me cry like a baby selling mine! Just that there ARE some that get on your nerves so much, it's not worth keeping them.
I'm proud of you, it's not easy to part with them, even the meanies or the pain in the neck ones. It worked out great, they're happy and so are you! Good going, LFJ!
A great solution and I'm proud of you, too!
Awww, You did really good! Now you have room for some good girls and the bad girls have a good home too! I very proud of you!!
The ones here seem a lot more relaxed. I know I am.
Thanks to all of you for the encouraging words.
Life is too short to put up with bad chickens.
I so want to steal this for my facebook status. ;-)
Good on ya, Mate!
Funny you said that Gallesfarm, because I have thought about that statement so many times the last few days too. It is true we don't have much time on this earth, the less aggravation the better.
Do you know that one third of us don't make it to age 65? So, there is a one in three chance I won't be here in 11 years. Strange, but true fact.
Life really is short, and she's so right. TOO SHORT FOR BAD CHICKENS! :D
Thanks Jylgaskin, you are a sweetheart.
it truely is!!!!!
