Have you used AZOMITE on your vegetable garden?

Irving, TX(Zone 8a)

I just bought a 44lb bag ($40) of AZOMITE.
I read the website information and it did intrigue me: http://www.azomite.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=9&Itemid=58

AZOMITEŽ is a mined natural mineral product. For over sixty years livestock and crop producers have utilized this unique material from central Utah to improve livestock and plant growth. Assays reveal that the material contains a broad spectrum of over 70 metabolically active minerals and trace elements.

AZOMITEŽ requires no mixing. It is odorless, will not burn plants and will not restrict aeration or water penetration. Unlike some products, AZOMITEŽ is not a manufactured, chemically prepared fertilizer. It is 100% natural with no additives, synthetics or filters.

Has anybody used Azomite on their vegetables?

Alexandria, IN(Zone 6a)

I have applied one bag to my fruit trees this winter and have more for the gardens. So I have used some, but I have to wait on future results. Some soils are more leached with rainfall than others. Basically the Eastern half of the country is more likely to have leached soils than the Western half. Also farming has removed its share of micro and trace elements like cobalt, yyitrium, copper, and several other elements.

The bulk of Azomite is silicon and other common substances, but it's that micro and trace part that likely makes the most difference.

Sierra Foothills, CA(Zone 8a)

I mix it in with my soil while preparing it . I also use bio-char, bone meal, blood meal, bat guano, rock phosphate and Jersey greendsand. So there is no telling which ones are helping, but they all seem the better for them being in the garden.
