That's odd ... now when I click on my link above in the very first post, it takes me to the bloom of the day photo of March 16th Irisine ("Beefsteak Plant"). A glitch in the DG system??

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

It takes me to this page??????Today's bloom is Satsuki Azalea 'Red Bird' (Rhododendron indicum)

Lynn- Congrats on Gleaning cover! It is beautiful. I'm waiting for mine to bloom to verify that it is really Pink Smoke.

Yeah, something is going on ... it links to the current bloom of the day! I'll go directly to the Bloom of the day forum and get the link.

Here it is for anyone who hasn't seen it yet, Gail's Episcia 'Pink Smoke' ... absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! She sure can grow!! http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/botd.php?date=2011-02-10

I would love, love a piece of pink smoke. Have others to trade

Seymour, IN(Zone 5b)

Gail is no longer on DG. But her legacy lives on! Lou

You will have a small window to trade/purchase the delicate pink leaved episcia...they don't like cold and they don't like heat. A couple are more hearty, but most are fairly sensitive when it comes to mailing them in boxes. tish
