I have spent endless hours looking for quality trees and shrubs online. I am new to northern Indiana and am wanting Garden Annie apricot, grape vines, elderberry, and blueberries. I thought Willis Nursery looked good until I read all the negative posts! I would really like to go to the nursey and pick out my own but I'm not sure where to find the best nursery. I am willing to do some driving to find the best. Could you help me? thank you
finding fruit shrubs and trees- HELP!
I ordered my first blueberry shrubs from Waters Blueberry Farm. http://www.watersblueberryfarm.com/
They ONLY sell blueberry bushes and I have to say they are excellent. They all fruited the first summer (2010) and I look forward to seeing it explode this summer!
Although I have not used them yet for this particular fruit - I have been searching for a couple of years and have narrowed it down to either www.tastefulgarden.com or www.harrisseeds.com, I have used them both for vegetable and herb seeds and plants with excellent results.
Just my opnion! Good luck!
ETA: Waters was purchased by another family (just found out today) http://www.truevineranch.com/cart/

I am also looking for fruit trees. I have ordered quite a few. Have not received them yet. I read in Garden Watchdog and decided to order from Grandpa's Orchard. They only have 4 reviews, but they are all positive. I can't grow blueberries here, so no help there. I would love an update after you receive yours.l
Hope us all luck,
Marie
