It was such fun. It's the annual voting for Miss Louiseville to celebrate "Festival de la Galette de Sarrasin Inc., de Louiseville" It's less than two hours west of Quebec.
We had the obligatory pancakes but they are served with molasses, which was a bit too sweet for me but the pancakes were wonderful.

Thank you my clem buddies!! My other half Jack asked me what I want for my birthday...my reply was to celebrate in May when the flowers are blooming and the sun is shining...That does NOT mean that I just aged another year from Feb to May :)

Thanks guys! Mike, the cat is adding much amusement to the household. If one of the dogs wags its' tail, he is on it like white on rice.

My red one is totally obsessed with shoe laces...whether I'm wearing the shoes or not !
They take it in stride, although not quite the LOL category :)
