If you look to the right you can see a logging truck with skidders on it,we have a big logging outfit not to far from here.
Very pretty, but I' m glad it's also very far away.
Pretty as it is, I'm very tired of snow! Supposed to warm up to the 30's this weekend. It was minus 5 this morning.

I am so tired of it to,it took me 2 hours of snowblowing to get to the manure pile and get everything cleaned up,the wind blows so hard here that everything gets filled up with snow.I clean my poop boards everyday and it has to go in the manure pile,I was hopeing that the snow fences would work but we didn`t put them far enough back so they are no help at all.
Pretty pictures! Those could be post cards for sure.
And to think -5, it is hard for us South Central Texans to conceive. It has been 24 here all morning and I thought we were being punished.

Moodene, you have no idea what torture it is to hear that LOL. I was thinking maybe we could wear shorts one day next week when it's supposed to get up to 42 degrees. How many more days until spring?
46 days for us.. Although the last week or so has been ideal spring weather. We usually have quite a bit of rain till April... We are gonna get hammered next week, but till then, it's awesome.
It went up to 55 yesterday, today theres a promise of 60!!! Yay!
I actually see green grass starting and my daffodils and iris are coming up, and crocus!!
My Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Hen decided it was time to get her nesting Habitat ready. She somehow coaxed Old Roho to follow her into the old Dog house and help her prepare her nest. I saw what was going on and filled the Cubby hole attached to the side of the old doghouse with new straw. Next thing I know old Roho is making a nest and cooing and cackling like an old lovestruck Hen. Yep, the Rooster was making the nest! By 12:00 Little Lacey Wyandotte had laid her egg in Hubby's nest! So we will see if she goes broody soon!

Donna & Porkpal, that was mean LOL. We're just getting over a snow storm from last week, then tons of rain and still have flood warnings thru Sunday. BUT, Thursday it's supposed to get up to 60. The almanac said the snow last week is supposed to be the last one for the year, I'm counting on it! Spring can't get here soon enough, I wanna go play in the dirt.
