Can't wait to get together this spring!!.. but for now I hope you have a great day!!!!
Happy Birthday Weeze!!!!
Happy Birthday, Queen Weeze. Hope it's the bestest ever.
happy b-day!!
Robin, is that iris 'Bumblebee Deelite'? I love it!
Yes, Pixie, it is! I love it, too!
Thank you so much everyone...I'd love to say I've had a great day but it was horrible! I (we) had to take as "assessment" today at work..we were all bugged at the end...if we even finished! I banged my books and left for the ladies room, one of my classmates was there and looked at me with her eyes buggin out. "louise, do you and Jack have any plans for tonight?" Nope......"good, let's go out for a drink....which turned into half the class...which turned into a lot of laughs, so in the end it WAS a great day, just took a bit to get there. Came home to balloons and cards and lots of love. Even when it starts out yucky, we learn how much the people in our lives mean, even our internet gardening buddies......Love you guys! Thanks!!
Glad you had a good ending to your day
Ditto!
glad you had a happy ending to a bad day!!.... you deserve it!!
Thanks Polly, no weeds is something we all wish for.... too bad it's a wish never granted :) Alison I know you know the great ending to a bad day...puts the smile on our face!
Hey hey!! You're gonna embarrass Jack & Randy!!
It's a good embarrassment....although that's not what I originally meant, only you could come up with that Victor^_^
;)
Cracking up here.
LOL
Did you pass? Hope so. Patti

^_^.......that could be embarrassing too. Won't know until Monday about the assessment.
Oh Patti.
What type of work do you do, Louise?
I retired at 57, and just work part time for my daughter now, so when she comes to assess me, I just tell her to look for another sitter when she wants a night out.
PollyK, last year I text messaged my son, " call on my cell, Dad's died" and of course he glanced at it while at work and almost died himself and called me in a panic, then saw his mis-reading of the message. I felt horrible. He was so happy and relieved. I am more careful now. Patti
ooohh Patti my mom is soooo good at that... trust me I have gotten mis read text messages before from her.. not good
Polly, I work for a very, very large healthcare insurance company. The assessments involve learning the multitude of software programs, command based. I mean really, command based?? It's 2011, not 1975.
Patti, I can see how that caused some laughs, AFTER the panic subsided.
Oh, my goodness.....I would have fainted!
Too funny - I misread it also. Amazing how our eyes pick out certain things.
I know, he was beyond horrified for a few seconds while he frantically called me. But ust as I was saying hello he realized that he had missed that little apostrophe. But I never should have written the note that way. Patti
Well, in this case, you can NOT miss the apostrophe and still be mislead. Could mean 'Dad has died.' Just like 'Bob's gone to the store.'
Thanks Other Louise :) Assessment....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :)
