Oh no I am so tired of snow. I am so ready for spring and a oozie to kill the vole/mole in my yard.
I wanta get in the green house and fix it so its air tight and I can start planting seeds. Also need to get all my orchids repotted in fresh chips.
NO SNOW NO SNOW NO SNOW

Snow is in forecast for Weds. night.
It's forecast to be in the 20's tonight, and our figs and peach tree have just started to green up. Should I cover them with sheets?
Our centipede grass is greening up too - with weeds! Need to take care of that soon.
Our next door neighbor has had moles/voles, but we don't. Maybe it's our dog. Whatever the reason, I'm grateful for that.

supposed to get an inch of snow late Wed night/early Thursday -hopefully it won't stick around!
My Nippon Daisy's are actually starting leaf buds and a few day lily's have peaked out of the ground...so here's hoping this is it for snow this year!
I'm hoping to unwrap my 3 date palms this weekend, extended weather forecast permitting. I've been battling ground voles for several years, Lavina. I'm still protecting plants in my yard from them. I think I may have lost all 3 of my tall palmettos to them. But my war against ground voles is over. I lost. From now on, I will coexist with the little demons by protecting everything I plant with plastic and metal mesh barriers. Also, I'll never plant vole munchies near the base of any future palmettos. Good luck! BTW, I have 9 outdoor cats.
About an inch on the ground and snowing lightly here, streets and walks are clear but wet. 38 degrees. Not bad.

32 degrees in Baybopro and still snowing and I am at work. Bummer
Hope all of yopu are well and safe and snow goes away. 2 1/2 inches by drive here in parking lot.
