Another Grackle ID

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

I was pretty sure that these were Boat-tailed Grackles but eBird isn't listing them as a common bird. Before I enter it as a rare bird (which I don't believe), I thought I'd better check my ID.

Another tricky one! Some are showing pale eyes, others not - so maybe a mix of Boat- and Great-tailed?

It was the eyes that were making me think boat-tailed but then I read that immature great-taileds have dark eyes until spring. They all seemed smaller than great-tailed grackles though. I also didn't see any yellow eyes at all.

Here's a pic of the group. They all look pretty uniform but then I guess there isn't a really big size difference between great-tailed and boat-tailed.
