Hi, the first bird looks like a Willet to me and the second I can't come up with a match on. Both were found on the big island of Hawaii.

First is a Wandering Tattler - good bird to get!
Second is Yellow Canary Crithagra flaviventris (syn. Serinus flaviventris), introduced on Hawaii from southern Africa.

Thank you, that's two new birds. I was so sure about the first one.
Tattlers are related to Willets (they're both in the same genus now, though older books give them different genera). While a Willet in Hawaii wouldn't actually be a state first (it is on the state list as an accidental), it certainly isn't a regular species there.

The 1st bird is a Wandering Tattler, Heteroscelus incanus.
It is a common winter visitor in Hawai'i from Alaska. They can be seen on all of the Islands from late August to the beginning of May.
The 2nd bird is a Yellow-Fronted Canary, Serinus mozambicus.
It is commonly seen along the Kona and South Kohala coasts on Hawai'i Island.
It was introduced in the 1960's from Africa.
The 2nd bird is a Yellow-Fronted Canary, Serinus mozambicus.
Agree, Yellow-fronted Canary is a better fit. Also now moved to the new genus Crithagra, as Crithagra mozambica.
