More Bluebirds

Not sure what the theme of this thread will be, or where it might go. I do have a few pics stored up. Bluebirds in a variety of poses.

This first one is from today. Uncropped. Canon 1D Mark IV, 1200mm (600mm with the 2x TC) f/8 1/800 sec. It was cloudy so I had the ISO set at 5000.

Here is a similar shot, just slightly edited

From two days ago, with the 500mm.

Thanks. Here in eastern Virginia it is cold but no where near as bad as where you are. So far I think they are doing OK

Dave you are the Bluebird master! Wonderful shots!... like all of them.

I agree, the "master"! They're all so clear and sharp. It's a pleasure to see each and every one of your photos. I still can't get over that higher ISO-wow! I don't see any noise in that photo.
