OK, it wasn't really a "project", but there was paint and screws involved! I painted the wooden post and hung the solar house number sign on it.
I got the gnome for my husband for his birthday last week. He went to Chapel Hill.
Love it!

The gnome is too cute! be careful or he's lible to become a world traveler :)
I know. I'm thinking about seeing if there's a hole in the bottom that I can put a screw in and secure him to something.
I was leaning more towards having him sit on a live wire so when the kids touch him they get zapped...ok just kidding..really I am....not...LOL
We do have an invisible fence for our dogs. I could put one of their collars on him...
So, after posting this picture on facebook, I was fussed at by some friends that we didn't have a SC Gamecock gnome. My husband taught at USC for almost 30 years and we met there.
I didn't really want another gnome (the Tarheels one gives me enough attitude!), so I decided to get a gamecock statue. Could NOT find one. I got this off of eBay. Since it was beige, I painted it. Looks pretty good!
